Our Remembrance Day Assembly is set to take place this Friday, November 9th at 10:45 am in the school gym. The assembly will be led by some of our senior intermediate students and will include readings of poetry, songs, the presentation of our flags by the school’s colour guard, and a moment of silence to remember those who gave their lives for our country. Students will be reminded that this is a solemn occasion, and that there should be no applause or unnecessary noise during the assembly. Each student will receive a red poppy to wear at this assembly and we will be collecting donations for the poppy fund at 9:00 am on November 9th.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend our Remembrance Day Assembly.
