Dear Jarvis Traditional Elementary families,

As we come to the end of another incredible school year, I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to our entire Jarvis community for your support, partnership, and dedication throughout the year. Together, we have celebrated achievements, embraced challenges, and created countless memorable experiences for our students. We are so proud of all that has been accomplished and grateful for the strong sense of community that makes Jarvis such a special place. I am honoured and proud to serve as the Principal at this school.  As we say goodbye for the summer, we wish you and your families a safe, relaxing, and joyful break filled with fun, laughter, and time together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the Fall for another wonderful year of learning and growth. Happy summer!

Dear families,

As you may have heard, I am being transferred to Sunshine Hills for the 2026/2027 school year. I have absolutely loved my time at Jarvis. The students here are genuinely the best. They are kind, respectful, helpful, inclusive, welcoming… I could go on and on. They have made my experience here an absolute joy. I also want to acknowledge the staff who have helped me to become the Vice Principal I am today and I will be forever grateful. I look forward to the new challenge ahead, but will miss everyone and will cherish my time as a Jarvis Jaguar.

Year End Assembly

• We will be having our year end assembly and slideshow on Wednesday June 24^th at 1:00 in the gym
• We will also be doing our farewell to Ms. Elkin at this time!
• Parents are invited and doors will open at 1:00. The slideshow will be about 20 minutes.

Strong Start Program Update

• Beginning in September, the Strong Start Program (for children from birth to kindergarten entry) currently offered at Jarvis will be moving to Chalmers Elementary school (11315 75 Avenue, Delta). Chalmers Elementary already hosts a morning Strong Start session. With this transition, the program will be available both in the morning and afternoon at Chalmers Elementary, providing families with greater flexibility. Families are welcome to attend the session that best fits their schedule. No registration or advance booking is required before visiting.
• Mandy has been an integral part of our Jarvis Community and has seamlessly helped transition our younger Jaguars into our school community. We have appreciated all the relationships we have created with our Strong Start families.
