Kindergarten Starting with Stories

• Save the date: Our Kindergarten Starting With Stories will be happening May 19^th and 26 at 1:30 pm. More details to come for those students enrolling into Kindergarten this year at Jarvis Traditional
• Open House: June 16^th

Track and Field

• We have one more walk to the track on Tuesday April 28^th to practice with our runners at 9:00 am at ND track
• After attendance, Grade 4-7 students who participated in the Friday practice will run again. Please ensure that all students are at school on time this day

Langar Donation Lunch

• We have a large group of community members who are interested in providing food for the entire school as a “langar” donation to celebrate the year
• Next Friday May 1^st, students will have an Indian snack provided by this group of parents
• We truly appreciate the community feel that Jarvis has, especially this year as we build back our relationships with the community

LUNCH LADY Program

Exciting News for Families – New School Meal Program!

We are excited to share that starting May 4, 2026, the Delta School District is piloting a new School Meal Program here at Jarvis Traditional Elementary in partnership with The Lunch Lady.

This program is designed to ensure every student has access to nutritious, balanced meals during the school day, so that they are better able to learn, focus and thrive at school. Families can choose from regular, vegetarian and halal-friendly meals for their child. The program is supported in part by the B.C. Government’s Feeding Futures program. Subsidies will be available for families who need financial support. The district plans to roll out the program at additional elementary schools during the 2026/27 school year.

More detailed information, including how to sign up for the program, view the menu and order meals for your child will be shared with you early next week.
