Budget Survey
2026/27 Budget Recommendations
Phase 1 of this year’s budget public consultation process resulted in 167 online survey responses from parents/caregivers, students, staff, and community members on their budget priorities for the upcoming school year. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. You can see a summary of the feedback, along with general information on where the school district’s funding comes from and how it is spent here.
Following consideration of this feedback and the Ministry’s funding announcement, the Delta Board of Education released the draft budget recommendations for 2026/27 on Thursday, April 16. The Delta Board of Education is now inviting you to provide feedback on these via a short online survey or by sending an email to budget@deltaschools.ca before noon on Monday, April 20. This will enable your feedback to be shared with the board prior to the Special Public Board Meeting for Budget Input on April 21.
Alternatively, if you would like to share your thoughts in person, you are welcome to attend the meeting on Tuesday, April 21 at the School Board Office, 4585 Harvest Drive, Ladner. The meeting will follow the Regular Board Meeting and is expected to begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. To sign up to speak at the Special Public Board Meeting, please email kaquino@deltaschools.ca by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 20.
