***Please be advised that Kiran's Uniforms has moved. They have merged with a much bigger uniform store called RJ McCarthy. Kiran will continue to serve our school and will make sure that she is at the school often during the school year. Parents will be able to order on-line and have uniforms delivered directly to their homes. Families are also welcome to go to the store on Boundary as they will carry Jarvis stock.

***The Grandparents and Parents Literacy Group will be starting in the Jarvis Strong Start Room. The Grandparents and Parents Literacy Group is a group for ADULTS only. The next Grandparents and Parents Literacy Group is on May 25 from 12:30-2:30.

Some parents are interested in Babysitting Courses for their children. Here is the information:

Red Cross Babysitting Course:

Delta Parks and Rec is offering the Red Cross Babysitting Course here at Jarvis in the Library.  This course provides the young babysitter with valuable babysitting skills, first aid, emergency procedures, proper ethics & the sense of responsibility needed for safe child care.  Certificates are issued to students successfully completing the course.  Students must bring a notebook, pencil, and doll or teddy bear to each class.  Must be 11+ years old by the end of session, and 100% attendance is required.
